Partner Organisations

We partner with organisations working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants across London to provide language and personal development training for women of all ages and abilities.

Migrateful is a cookery and language initiative giving asylum seekers, refugees and migrants struggling to access employment the opportunity to teach their traditional cuisine to the public. We are working with Migrateful to develop an English language and personal development programme for their chefs.

We worked with Barnet and Southgate College’s Young ESOL learners, aged 15 to 19, in December 2017. After a trip to the Royal Opera House, we ran a one-off language-through-theatre workshop, using drama games and activities to get the young people experimenting with new language.

The Baytree Centre is a women’s-only space in Brixton, providing ESOL classes, parenting workshops, family services and a young women’s education programme. At the end of 2017, we ran workshops with ESOL classes of four different levels, from B1 to through to advanced. We are due to continue running workshops at the centre in 2018.
